Jimmy Jian is a designer and researcher exploring the relationships among technology, humanity, and aesthetics through design. He regards design as a mindset that can be used in various ways, from tangible to intangible, from problem solving to problem finding.
After graduating from Taiwan Tech in Design in 2018, he received a scholarship of government sponsorship for oversea studies, and earned an MA in Design Futures from Royal College of Art with distinction in 2020.
His works are usually narrative-based. With in-depth research and writing, he attempts to criticize, speculate, and provide platforms for wilder debates on important issues. His works range cover objects, interactions, and visuals.
